we are headed out the door in a couple hours, on our way to maine for a week. yeah, vacation!!
we will be traveling over 3000 miles with our 3.5 month old son. we are a little nervous. travel involves a 5 hour flight to boston, a 2 hour layover, a 1.5 hour flight to bar harbor, a 30 car ride to the dock, a 15 minute ferry ride, and then another 10 minute car ride to the house. not that i've thought it out or anything.
i have a feeling he will be a good little traveler. i hope he's a good little traveler. i would be more than happy to take this kid around the world if he's up for it. we figured we'd start with maine. it's pretty much as far as we can go and still be in the united states.
needless to say, there will not be any blog updates until we return. we will be on an island off the coast, with no cell phone reception and limited internet access. i can't tell you how much i'm looking forward to this.
will have plenty of pictures to post upon our return july 3rd!
xoxo

vacations are good but never the same since Jack. enjoy, Aunt Sally
You might have cell phone coverage there. Sarah's and Daisy's phones worked. You might still be able to use the iPhones!
There are computers with internet access at the library, too. Make sure to go to the store and hang with the woman who owns it. She's a trip and has lived on the island forever. Ask her the story of her husband on the boat.
I'm so jealous you're going to Cranberry. It was on the island that I was really gaggy and overly tired. The day I got home I found out it was because I was preggo with Layna.
Have fun and say hello to the ocean!
