tummy time!

Bainbridge Island

here are a few highlights from our trip to bainbridge island on sunday. for those who are not familiar with the area, bainbridge island is a 35 minute ferry ride from seattle, out into puget sound. alot of people live on the island, and commute into the city for work. on days like sunday, the ferry ride is awesome. in the middle of february, on day 35 of consecutive rain, not so much.

it was mike and jack's first time on the ferry. jack, as you would expect, slept the entire trip. i was going to post two pictures of him, but soon realized that they look exactly the same...even though the were taken about 4 hours apart (he clearly gets his napping skills from his mom).

mike, on the other hand, spent his time on the ferry posing by the rail and flashing gang signs.

In a less than tropical climate.

has been a good omen so far, its supposed to be in the 80's here by
the end of the week. Finally!!

mommy takes the best pictures...

and...i also had the best mother's day. thank you to all who called, emailed, and sent their love and wishes. it was very sweet. i had a very nice, relaxing day. mike and jack gave me a beautiful necklace, breakfast, and a clean house! yay!

we spent our day sleeping in, took our oldest children (the dogs) to the park, had a hot dog from a vendor outside SafeCo field, took a nice nap on the couch, and then had sushi.

it's great to be a mom.

xoxo

Happy Mother's Day.
